Tax and Tax Advice

All governments have taxes on people, businesses and goods/services. These taxes are used by government to build and develop the country's infrastructure for the benefit of society. For example the government spends money on developing our transport networks, building our hospitals, protecting our natural environment, building relationships with other countries, supporting the arts and culture industry and other such critical endeavors. So it is important that we pay tax to contribute to the development of our country.

Types of taxes include VAT (Value Added Tax), PAYE (Pay as you Earn) and Income Tax. With SARS new electronic e-filing system, they have made it incredibly easy for individuals and small business to calculate and pay their taxes.
